To commemorate the lives lost in the Holocaust, MDY HS invited Holocaust survivors to speak to the students and pass on their story. In every classroom sat a survivor with 15 students, telling their story. Students had the chance to ask questions on a personal level. Afterwards, the survivors were escorted to the atrium where a candle lighting ceremony paid tribute to those who perished.
